mtskheta – Georgia

Mtskheta-Mtianeti is located in the northeastern part of Georgia, bordered by Russia to the north, Kakheti to the east, Shida Kartli to the west, and the capital city Tbilisi and Kvemo Kartli to the south. The region is characterized by a diverse terrain, including the Caucasus Mountains to the north and the Mtkvari (Kura) River. The Greater Caucasus range dominates the northern part of the region, offering dramatic landscapes and a variety of outdoor activities.
