Situated in the Paarl Valley, 60 kilometres north east of Cape Town, this 160 hectare estate has been cultivated for more than 300 years with records showing that the farm was one of the first in the region to be dedicated to producing wine grapes.
The name ‘La Luna’ is a reference to the moon, believed by biodynamic winemakers to be an influence on the winemaking process. La Luna is Avondale’s Bordeaux blend. Surprisingly subtle and elegant with restrained power.
