he Brunello di Montalcino Riserva DOCG produced by Le Potazzine is an exceptional example of red wine that encapsulates the excellence and intensity of Tuscany.

The term Potazzine a Montalcino is used to indicate the booby-eaters, small lively and colorful birds of the Tuscan countryside. The estate consists of five hectares of vineyards registered with Brunello, three of which are located near the cellar, at 507 meters above sea level, with an average age of 14 years.
The other two plots are located in Sant’Angelo in Colle area, approximately 420 meters above sea level, planted in 1996. The training system is Guyot.

Nose Deep layers of aromas, including notes of ripe red fruits, cherry jam, and delicate spicy and balsamic nuances, skillfully intertwined with hints of tobacco and leather that evolve elegantly
Palate Silky palate is loaded with finesse, offering juicy wild cherry, cinnamon, chopped mint, black tea and a note of pipe tobacco.

Vinification Hand harvested. 30 and 50 hectoliter Slavonian oak barrels from Garbellotto company to age its wines. Brunello usually ages in barrels for around 40 months, the Brunello Riserva, produced to date only in the 2004, 2006, 2011 and 2015 vintages, rests in wood for around 50 months.
