Vesevo is part of the Fantini group, named after the famed volcano Mt. Vesuvio, in whose shadow sit the vineyards. Vesevo has a close and well developed association with the best growers in the area comprising approximately 60 hectares of carefully selected and tended vineyards. The vineyards enjoy the rich volcanic soils which impart mineral nuances to the wines.

Vinification | The grapes for this single-varietal Aglianico from the south of Italy are de-stemmed after the harvest and the berries are gently crushed. Mash fermentation takes place over 10-15 days at a temperature of 26°C. The Vesevo Aglianico is then matured in barriques for 8 months. |
