Tasting Notes from Pinto Wines

Colour Intense ruby ​​red with a light violet tone
Nose Complex, with an aroma of red fruits mixed with sweet spice and graphite notes. At the end, there are soft notes of dried fruit
Palate Sweet, with soft tannins and silky but present. Fruity and long finish with some hints of dark chocolate in the aftertaste

Vinification The grapes were harvested by hand in March and April and then manually sorted at the winery. Pre-fermentation maceration took place for five days at 10°C. The grapes were then fermented for 10 days at 28 °C in concrete tanks using both selected and indigenous yeasts. 30% of the wine was matured in first use French oak barrels, the rest in second and fourth use French oak barrels for 15 month before spending a further six months in bottle before release
