Txacolina

Txakoli (pronounced chak-ko-lee) is a wine of the Basque country in Spain’s far north between Logroño and Bilbao. The climate here is very different from other wine-growing regions in Spain, notoriously damp and humid with undulating mountains and valleys, making wine production very challenging here until modern skills and technology arrived in the 1990s.
