  • There are records linking the Leitz family to winemaking, dating all the way back to 1744. Johannes Leitz took over the winery in 1985 and since then has increased the estate from 2.9 hectares to the 40 hectares that we see today. He has always aimed to produce wines in an elegant style with pure fruitiness and great freshness, of the highest quality - and this includes his alcohol-free wines. Alcohol-free wine never will give the same depth, structure and weight as a wine with alcohol, but this is extremely close to it and it is simply an alcohol-free wine tasting wine. Impressive. We recommend to pair this wine with summer salads or different fruits.
  • Johannes Leitz continues to innovate! In doing so, he recently partnered with a company to produce two alcohol-free rieslings. Germans have been producing non-alcoholic wines for over 70 years and that history has led to inventions to improve quality. Leitz’s hometown of Rüdesheim is the historic birthplace of the famous distillery Asbach Uralt. After the war, a fellow vigneron named Carl Jung began a distillery. Ultimately, Jung could not compete with the local brandy, but he developed a vacuum distillation system which enabled him to lower the temperature at which alcohol could boil off (because the boiling point decreases as atmospheric pressure decreases). Innovations in vacuum distillation have improved in recent years, and Leitz found a producer in Rheinhessen who recently patented a new, completely closed system that allows wine alcohol to boil at 28°C, preserving “wine-like” aromas and characteristics. As we all know, like fat, alcohol is a transporter of flavor, and without it, there needs to be something else to carry those flavors. 35 grams/L does the work for this riesling, though the sugar is nearly eaten up. Pairs well with gratinated crostini, cauliflower and goat’s cheese & butter, as well as with an Asian chicken casserole.
  • Eins-Zwei-Zero is a premium range of non-alcoholic wines created by award-winning winemaker Johannes Leitz. Using 100% Cabernet Sauvignon grapes from Argentina, these wines are produced with great attention to detail. The alcohol is removed through gentle vacuum distillation at low temperatures, allowing the natural flavours and delicate aromas to be preserved.
  • Non-alcoholic wine born in 2009 from a bubbly guy with old roots and modern tastes. Invariably well-dressed, he captures the world’s attention with his ranges of Non-Alcoholic wines in Frizzante style. Guido Walter and Jürgen Hofmann put their heads together. The German answer to frizzante had to be fresh and fruity, uncomplicated and affordable. A semi-sparkling wine that begins a carefree evening and lets you continue dancing late into the night. What began as an experimental small edition soon spread its wings and took flight. Suddenly it could be found at every party and could be seen winning design awards and notes of good taste. Everyone wants Fritz Müller. Refreshing, fizzy and frivolous: completely uncomplicated, the non-alcoholic Fritz Müller offers light-footed fun and fruity enjoyment. Vinified from the same grapes as the Fritz Müller semi-sparkling wine, this version entices sipping one or two glasses more without regret the next day. Wonderfully pure, it is best enjoyed chilled to 8°C, or as an ingredient in virgin cocktails. Guilt-free wine ;)
  • Squid have a delicate flavour and firm texture, which is achieved through rigorous selection control. Subsequently, it is washed, cooked and meticulously packed by their "canners".The se cephalopods are presented stuffed with their own legs and bathed in the best olive oil, resulting in an exquisite product.
  • Although beehives have existed in Mouchão for over a century, honey was first commercially sold in 2011. In the expansive and natural surroundings of the estate, bees craft this wild honey with pollen from native shrubs, trees, and wild meadows.  Beekeeping intervention is limited almost exclusively to harvesting. The honey, due to its purity, tends to thicken over time and can vary both in consistency and in its darker golden hue. Usually with a thick but smooth texture, it has floral highlights of orange blossom, wild lavender, and jasmine, with undertones of biscuit, butter, and dried fruits.   As this is a raw honey, over the months it tends to thicken and can vary both in consistency and in darker golden hues.
  • This very versatile white wine will please you with its slightly honeyed notes, its notes of exotic fruits and white fruits as well as floral notes. On the palate it is very fresh with a very refreshing acidity, a hint of citrus, flavors of exotic fruits and honey as well as a fairly persistent length. It's a charming and unpretentious everyday wine that is most satisfying.  The floral acidity makes it a great summer wine for the deck or a great pairing for light summer fare; Salads and seafood.
  • What a wonderfully crisp glass of white wine made from Sauvignon Blanc. The grape that you don't see much in Argentina but offers an excellent wine at the right height. Well, that is a must with this Aires Andinos Sauvignon Blanc, because the vineyards are at a very high altitude in Mendoza. This gives the vines a lot of cooling and that gives a unique taste to this white wine. The aires Andinos winery has invested a lot in recent years and we can taste that. The wines have become purer and riper and as a result have become intensely popular in Argentina. In the glass, this white Aires Andinos Sauvignon Blanc turns pale yellow with green hues. It smells of notes of freshly cut grass, citrus and of course some grapefruit. Just waltz with the glass and we also smell some green asparagus and bell pepper. In the mouth, this Sauvignon Blanc has a fresh feeling on the tongue with light acidity. Lots of fruitiness of apple, lime and grapefruit that lingers in the aftertaste.
  • Delightful and easy to drink , made from a blend of native Portuguese grape varieties. The vineyards are located in the Lisbon area. Due to its location close to the coast, the alcohol percentage is quite low. Fruity and aromatic, a true crowd pleaser and a summer hit. Go well with light dishes
  • Delicious, fresh zesty lemon and green apple flavours, lively and refreshing with good length. Ideal as an aperitif, with seafood, white meats, goats cheese and salads.
  • De Bortoli Wines is a third generation family wine company, established by Vittorio and Giuseppina De Bortoli in 1928. They emigrated to Australia from their mountain village in the foothills of the Italian Alps, near the historic town of Asolo, and their Italian heritage still drives the way the family makes its wine.Soft, fresh & fruity dry white. Lifted aromas of ripe peach and nectarine complemented with decent lick of oak. The palate is soft with a creamy texture with the most gentlest of acid nuances for a very long finish.
  • The Pinot Grigio grapes from this wine come from the Veneto (Pavia region, near Milan) region of Italy, where the Pinot Grigio grape has been cultivated for more than a century. The wine shows apple and pear with hints of white peach and elderflower. Light and refreshing, a mouth-watering partner for salads and seafood, great in the summer.
  • Lab tested and approved! This Lab is asking to be walked. Hitting all the puns here, only because that is exactly what you will get with this wine. It does what it says on the tin, if not more. This lovely red from Lisbon is full bodied but smooth and is very aromatic with notes of ripe black and red fruits. On the palate, juicy plums and dark berry fruit flavour with plenty of fresh yet fine tannins that take over at the finish, along with flavours of spice and liquorice. It is not top of the shelf but it does punch above its weight.
  • A wine that presents itself as modern, with excellent aromatic intensity and offering citric fruit notes. With a light body, it has also a great natural freshness and shows great balance in the aftertaste. Great everyday wine that punches above its weight. Enjoy it without compromising
  • Mesta is a range of organically and sustainably grown single varietal wines, which stylishly showcase the Spanish wine revolution under the symbol of the Mesta. Mesta was a powerful alliance of sheep ranchers in medieval Castile, who controlled the cañadas: the traditional rights of way for migrating sheep. To this day the cañadas are protected from being blocked or built upon, a reminder of ancient rights and a model of coexistence with nature. This modern range, from the fashionable DO Uclés in central Castile, offers wines of great purity and varietal typicity.A versatile wine which accompanies spicy dishes perfectly, Asian curries, seafood risotto or a light salad with grilled prawns. Rosé wines are in fashion not just in the summer but also throughout the year, and this beautiful Mesta Rosé is a serious contender in the Rosé world. Especially at this price!!!
  • Black Rock is part of the Bronco Wine Company, which was formed in 1973 by Fred, Joseph and John Franzia. Since the start, they have been clear that the goal is to make wines for consumption, rather than for storage. At the same time, the quality must be as high as possible, at the lowest possible price. The name Bronco is a merger of brother and cousin after the brothers Fred and Joseph and their cousin John. Great aromas of red berries and fruit, with a touch of herbaceousness. Full-bodied, with healthy fruit tones, well-balanced tannins and a subtle hint of oak. Serve around 16-18 ° C as a perfect complement to grilled lamb chops, or to dishes on game or beef. Also nice for a cheese platter, with not too strong cheeses.
  • The Mesta was a powerful alliance of shepherds in medieval Castile, who controlled the “cañadas”: traditional rights-of-way for migrating sheep. to this day, the “cañadas” are protected from being blocked or built upon. Our vineyards are nestled deep in the land of The Mesta, and are still passed over by flocks on their annual migration – a reminder of ancient rights, and a cultural cue for continued co-existence with nature. Produced from organically farmed vineyards in Uclés (Castile, Spain). Managed as an integrated ecosystem and studded with centenary oak trees. The continental climate with sunny days and cool nights allow us to achieve intense fruit and excellent varietal definition, while retaining remarkable freshness Mesta Tempranillo is a vibrant and juicy, unoaked red wine, showing great purity and the typicity of high-altitude Tempranillo, with expressive and well-defined aromas of red berries, rosemary and a touch of liquorice. Bright ruby red colour. Fresh and with an excellent persistence on the palate, with round texture and a satisfyingly dry finish. Very versatile, medium-bodied food wine, excellent with tapas, grilled meat and pasta.
  • Merinas comes from the Bodegas y Viñedos Fontana, located in the town of Cuenca. The name Merinas is also a reference to the merino sheep, the most famous sheep breed in the world which, incidentally, sometimes seems to scurry around in the vines. A crisp, aromatic white wine, showing great purity of aromas and a precise expression of the Verdejo grape. Bright, pale straw yellow, with intense, fresh notes of grass, fennel and white pepper. Dry but juicy on the palate, with excellent balance, a moderate alcohol of only 12,5% with a persistent, slightly mineral finish. Excellent as an aperitif and with pasta, salads, poultry and fish dishes.
  • Michel Chapoutier created these wines to honor his great grandfather, Marius Chapoutier. Marius once said, “A good wine is one that beckons us to take another sip” and that is what Michel has accomplished with these wines. Marius Red is a wine that combines power, complexity and elegance. The Syrah endows it with warmth, robustness and a lovely bluish red hue. The Grenache brings a natural sweetness, balancing the whole structure of the wine. The harvest is done during the day: the natural summer heat by the beginning of the autumn is a great benefit for the maturity of the wine. The complexity, the elegance and the gourmet touch of Marius rouge are then revealed by their wine blending know-how. Serve it as an aperitif or with chicken liver on toast, beef carpaccio, roasted vegetables, lamb kebabs, veal, swordfish steak or goat cheese and dark chocolate at the end of the meal. Salut Marius!

All three varieties play an important role - the Shiraz offers dark plum fruits, mulberries and licorice with plenty of concentration, depth and velvety tannin. The Grenache adds a lovely lusciousness to the wine with raspberry, blueberry and floral notes. Finally, the Mourvédre provides lovely red fruits with a hint of dried herb and importantly, a fine chalky tannin that carries all these characters to a long and wonderfully moreish finish. The fruit weight and silkyness means this wine can be enjoyed now, but it will keep developing over time. This wine screams value, recommended with hard cheeses and red meats.
  • The Shiraz grapes used to craft this youthful wine were harvested in early January, which proved to be a slightly dry season. This elegant De Bortoli The Accomplice Shiraz features a dark crimson colour with ruby highlights throughout the wine. The attractive nose offers fragrances of cherry and raspberry with subtle hints of spice and musk lurking in the background. The sweet and intense palate packs juicy flavours of berry fruit combined with vanilla and nutty oak, and balanced by subtle spicy notes. This medium bodied Shiraz can be cellared for a brief term of 24 months to discover its full flavour potential. It tastes marvellous with pasta, braised pork belly and beef fajitas with salsa.Easy to drink. Enjoy!
  • Easy to drink and Portuguese through and through. Great companion to any celebration and can easily keep up. People pleaser is the word that comes to mind. Would suggest this one for weddings or any events, as it will deliver. Well priced and won't empty your pockets. Get it, enjoy it....responsibly obviously! • A wine that expresses the characteristics and grape varieties of the Vinho Verde region. It's a light and refreshing wine, for all occasions.
  • Adega de Penalva wines are delicious everyday examples of one of Portugal’s most intriguing appellations — the Dão. Perched above the Dão river itself as it snakes through its granite valleys, the Adega de Penalva is one of the leading cooperatives in the area, boasting around a thousand member growers. It’s important to note, though, that the average holding per member amounts to barely over a hectare—a figure that reminds us how tenaciously much of rural Portugal clings to its old ways. (On that note, all fruit destined for the ‘Indigena’ bottlings is hand-harvested.) Since its founding in the 1960s, the Adega has been collecting its members’ grapes and producing clean, characterful wines with a minimum of fuss that showcase real regional typicity while remaining extremely attractively priced. Adega de Penalva Indigena Dao Tinto is made with 40% Touriga Nacional, 30% Tinta Roriz (Tempranillo), and 30% Jaen (Mencía). Hand-harvested, fully destemmed and aged in a combination of stainless steel and concrete tank. Aromas of leather and blueberries lead to a palate full of dark fruits with cherry and raspberry notes. Pairs well with beef and lamb.
  • Since taking over the family estate in 1985, Johannes Leitz has made it his life’s work to return the vineyards of the Rudesheimer Berg to their former glory as one of the finest in Germany. 35 years later and Leitz wines are now recognised among Germany’s best. Using a newly-patented cool vacuum distillation process, Johannes has created the world’s best tasting zero alcohol wines. At first the very idea of Alcohol Free wine seemed a taboo. But over the years, with the winemaking skills improving and more and more better Non-Alcoholic wines being produced, slowly everyone is getting used to it. This is not sparkling grape juice. This is wine where the alcohol has been removed through a technical process. So, maybe you’re going for a dry January, or you’re expecting, or on medication. Here is a very nice option for that special dinner.
  • The Delibori Pinot Grigio delle Venezie impresses with its elegantly dry taste. It was bottled with exceptionally low residual sugar. This is a true quality wine, which clearly stands out from simpler qualities and so this Italian naturally enchants with the finest balance despite all dryness. Excellent taste does not necessarily require a lot of sugar. Light-footed and multi-layered, this light white wine presents itself on the palate. The final of this youthful white wine from the wine-growing region of Veneto, more precisely from Delle Venezie DOC, finally convinces with good reverberation. Best enjoyed moderately chilled at 11 - 13°C. It is perfect as an accompaniment to pumpkin casserole, vegetable stew with pesto or leek tortilla.
  • The first Guarda Rios harvest was done in 2006 and, curiously, not in the Alentejo. This wine is associated to the Winemaker and Director of Monte da Ravasqueira, who, in 2012, brought the Guarda Rios with him. Like the birds, this wine migrated and settled next to the dams on a property in Arraiolois, where it found the ideal terroir in which to express all its exuberance and vivacity. The family currently owns 45 hectares under vine in the Alentejo Plains. The highlight of this vineyard is that there are close to 8 diverse soil types and 29 carefully selected plots here. Therefore, it is great for growing quite a few full-bodied grape varietals. The vines are grown at an average height of about 270m above sea level. The Alentejo Plains cover almost one-third of Portugal, and are home to various soil types such as clay, sandy, marble, granite, limestone, shale and more. Thanks to the hot & dry Mediterranean climate in this area, it is ideal for growing some of the rare & indigenous varietals. The native reds grown here are Aragonez, Trincadeira and Alicante Bouschet. Roupeiro, Arinto and Antao Vaz are the native whites grown here. All of these are grown in organized regions along Alentejo. The main regions of the plains where the vines are grown with utmost care & dedication are Borba, Redondo, Reguengos and Evora. These regions are divided based on their climate, soil quality and their ability to create full-bodied & aromatic grapes.
  • It is in the heart of the genuine Alentejo, with its unique aromas, flavors and textures, nature, silence and immensity, that the 80 hectares of vineyards at Herdade Monte da Cal, located in the municipality of Fronteira, in the parish of São Saturnino, extend over 80 hectares of vineyards. about 40 km from Portalegre. Surrounded by the tranquility of the northern Alentejo plain, it is part of the calm environment of nature characteristic of this part of the country, surrounded by an infinity of vineyards, which we can only see, far away. Here, the red varieties Trincadeira, Syrah, Aragonês, Alicante Bouschet, Alfrocheiro and Touriga Nacional are planted. The architecture and decoration of the estate reflect the Arab influences, so present in the Alentejo culture. The estate’s modern winery is a fundamental pillar to reinforce the visibility of the wines of this house, and a wine tourism project is already planned for this property. Suggested pairing with dishes from the Mediterranean, Chinese, Indian and African cuisine.
  • The thin, long almonds from Sicily are creamy and free of any sourness in aftertaste. We mix them with crispy wafer and give them a blonde chocolate bath, through which they acquire the elementary characteristic caramel notes thanks to the Guérande salt. We roll the almonds with a thin layer of wafer, to make them even more crispy.

The name ‘Stump Jump’ doesn’t relate to the English game of cricket (jumping over the stumps at the end of the game), nor the breeding of livestock held in the stumps but relates to the significant South Australian invention – the Stump Jump plough. The plough soon became a worldwide implement for ploughing fields because of its ability to ride over stumps and gnarled “mallee” Eucalypt roots and snags, saving valuable time and energy by not stopping the draught horse. Every Stump Jump white of late seems to take the drinker on an interesting journey and this one is no exception. A wonderful fresh vibrant appearance with an equally appealing aroma. Notes of florals, cut grass and limes are obvious but as the wine opens up, more complex secondary notes appear such as green melon rind, passionfruit, lavender, wheat germ, and almond kernel characters. The palate is dry with a moderate level of intensity and ripe fruit characters dominated with Riesling florals and limes; the grassy sweetness and elevated acidity of the Sauvignon Blanc while the Roussanne and Marsanne add an earthy, dry stone fruit element, green almond kernels and a lovely viscous character giving textural richness to the finish. The wine has excellent balance and length of flavour which we see as being an essential element in a great value drink. The Stump Jump is at its best drinking while young, and will continue to develop in the bottle over the next three to five years. It is perfect drinking on a warm summer’s day, and a perfect match for a wide variety of light dishes.
  • With a very good structure and fine crimson colour, this Bordeaux Supérieur is a really pleasant wine to drink. The merlot dominant variety offers extraordinary fruitiness with mellow tannins resulting in supple wines that are easy to drink. The cabernet sauvignon and cabernet franc gives a good structure to the wine. Aromas of tropical fruits and red fruits give a complex bouquet. All these features offer a wine that can be enjoyed with red meats and barbecues.
  • The TANK No 32 Primitivo Appassimento from Cantine Minini sparkles a wonderful dark red wine. This Italian red inspires with its perfect combination of elegance and power. The bouquet reveals aromas of ripe cherries, juicy plums and dried fruit, especially figs, dates and raisins come to mind. The palate of TANK 32 impresses with its dense and concentrated character. The pleasant and equally discreet residual sweetness gives this red wine a wonderful velvety texture. The long finish of Tank No 32 is carried by delicate notes of nougat and dark chocolate. The Tank No 32 Apassimento is a great accompaniment to strong game dishes with fresh mushrooms and well matured cheeses.
  • Vegan Gewurztraminer/ Riesling blend. Rose petal aromas with a hint of spice and fresh citrus. The palate is sweet, with rosewater Traminer characters complemented by the Riesling adding a citrus freshness. Try with spicy pork buns or if you're adventurous, venison salad with Thai herbs or spicy food in general. Did I mention this wine is Vegan?
  • This wine is made from the noblest and best known Portuguese grape variety(Alvarinho), in a year of exceptional quality. The aroma is intense and very attractive, with flowery and fruity notes, and lemonade hints, in a combination of great character and fineness. Tropical fruit in the mouth, acidity fits nicely with the fruit. Long finish
  • A totally irresistible semi-sparkling organic rosé from our favourite Prosecco producer La Jara, but in this case they use a little bit of the red grape Raboso, to give the wine its lovely pale coral colour. The nose is delicate and fruity, led by aromas of ripe strawberries and raspberries. The palate is fresh and tart, full of gooseberry and redcurrant notes. Try pairing this wine with risotto or pasta, or simply having it as an aperitif. Just for the fun of it, I leave you with a fun fact. The Italians call the string around the bottle a spago. It has no function other than that it looks nice. And that is exactly what makes it a real Italian wine. Beautiful on the inside and beautiful on the outside. A feast to watch and a feast to drink.
  • Located within the AOC Bordeaux, the Vignoble de Gravelierhas 32 Ha of vines with an average age of 20 years. It is located on hillsides thus benefiting from a beautiful sunshine. The harvest is harvested at perfect maturity and vinified using the traditional method in stainless steel vats and aged in cement vats. The grape variety of the vineyard is composed of 75% Merlot and 25% Cabernet-Sauvignon. To present a quality wine, the yields and phytosanitary treatments are moderate. The foliage is kept as high as possible to obtain better maturity. With deep colour, classic structure and unusually ripe flavours, this is classic claret to serve with roast beef, duck or T-bone steak. A gourmet Bordeaux!
  • Monção e Melgaço has been producing wines and recognized for it since Roman occupation times, but was with Afonso III, 5th King of Portugal(1210-1279) that signed a ''Foral'' that conceded Monção e Melgaço habitants the owners of the local wine and therefore they produced it with pride as they do today. The wine is made from the Alvarinho (predominant) and Trajadura varieties, indigenous to Portugal and the region, more specifically. The dry Muralhas de Moncao Vinho Verde never seems intrusive, but is soft, elegant and harmonious with no wood whatsoever. The wine goes well not only as an aperitif, but also with salads, seafood, fish dishes and white meat.
  • Since 2011 Herdad da Lisboa(name of the Qunta), has been the place of the Cardoso Family in Vidigueira, in the Baixo Alentejo sub-region. A place where the modernity of the winery intersects with the tradition of the Alentejo cellars and where the diversity of viticulture is added to the permanent evolution of oenology. The Serra do Mendro, located to the north of Vidigueira, creates a natural barrier that favors the retention of fresh winds from the Atlantic Ocean, causing greater rainfall and large thermal amplitudes. Cold mornings and nights and hot days promote a balanced maturation of the grapes, preserving their freshness and natural acidity. The gentle slopes and elevations of the landscape, as well as the clay-schist soils bring minerality, freshness and diversity to the wines of Herdade da Lisboa. The approximately 100 hectares of vineyards at Herdade da Lisboa express the producer's deep respect for nature, integrating several sustainable practices, which allow optimizing the consumption of essential resources, such as water and energy. Natural grass, mechanical weed cutting to avoid the use of herbicides, close surveillance of pests, use of solar panels, its own weather station and probes for measuring soil humidity and temperature are some of the techniques and equipment used. It goes very well with fish and seafood dishes, salads or Asian dishes.
  • A premium quality oil created from a unique blend of the finest indigenous olive varieties – Verdeal, Madural & Cobrançosa.
It has a balanced & harmonious flavour, with a fresh green fruity aroma and a precious golden green colour. There is a sweetness to the taste with notes of almonds, a medium peppery bite & an elegant lasting finish.
  • Dominated by Carignan, this is a Minervois which will wow the senses and really impress with its value for money. The fruit for the Ramel Grand Cuvee were sourced from the Domaine de la Baquiere Estate, within the heart of the Languedoc Wine Region. From 23 hectares of vineyard on the slopes of the Montagne Noire where the Ramel-Mazard family winemaking dates back to 1726, forming traditional methods of production, with the fruit harvested by hand and each grape variety vinified separately in stainless steel. This is a medium/full bodied with bright ruby edge. Interesting and attractive nose, sweet blackberry, plum notes with a smoky, meaty complexion. Cherry notes too. Medium weight palate with sweet blackberry fruit, mocha and cherry tones. Tannins are grippy but well balanced and the 14% alcohol well integrated. Would suit Duck very well, or slow cooked meats stew style dishes.
  • A thoroughly delightful white Bordeaux, made from a blend of Semillon, Sauvignon Blanc, and Muscadelle. Very aromatic with notes of white peach and fresh garden herbs, highlighted with bright citrus rind and mineral nuances. Easy breazy, this is  lovely go-to summer wine to enjoy as an aperitif or with seafood dishes. YUM!
  • This wine, belonging to the Haute Couture Print Collection, has been woven with white Grenache grapes. It combines modernity and fruity character with the elegance of the Mediterranean style of this variety. Ideal appetizers, seafood, fish, white meat and pasta starters.
  • A quintessential California Zinfandel. Beringer has built a legacy crafting renowned wines from a prized collection of California vineyards, celebrating a remarkable winemaking tradition dating back to 1876 when the Napa winery was founded by Beringer brothers Frederick & Jacob. A Zin that definitely portrays some Classic California ripeness. Ripe blueberries, blackberries, plums, a hint of smoky and mineral characters and a touch perfumed (dried floral notes) on the nose. On the palate you’ll find that smoke and berry ripeness coming through, with a little tangy raspberry adding to a lengthy finish. Medium plus body with a silky mouthfeel, smooth light tannins and luscious acidity. I love Zins with a juicy bacon and smoked cheddar burger or with your favourite pizza. This one should not disappoint!

  • Vitese Nero D'Avola is an organic and vegan wine. It is an intense ruby red with a bouquet very fruity with scents of red berries (cherry, blackberry), fragrant, mineral (graphite), spicy. In the mouth it presents a perfect balance of tannins and acidity, profound taste of great extent and structure, elevated smoothness. Intense, persistent and fine. Pairs well with aperitifs, mature cheese and Ragusano DOP, cold cuts, maialino from the Nebrodi mountains, white and red meats.
  • This is an excellent value French Sauvignon Blanc from the Loire valley and  resembles the big Sancerre wines of the region . This Petit has nothing petit about it and has an outstanding quality and is very flexible. Can be drunk on it's own or paired with grilled trout, bass or fresh goats' cheese. Jean Paul Seguin winery is situated in the small village of Verdigny in the Sancerre region, the Fournier family has been making wine for many generations. The estate has grown from 5 hectares in 1950 to almost 30 hectares today, divided over the appellations of Mentou Salon, Pouilly-Fumé and Sancerre. The improvement made in vinification techniques and the permanent concern about quality result in well-balanced wines of great diversity. • The Colomba Bianca winery was founded in 1970. During the last 10 years, under the guidance of our Chairman Leonardo Taschetta, it has become the biggest wine growing co-operative in Sicily. The company today, can, in fact, count on circa 2480 partners and extends along 7500 hectars of vineyards between the provinces of Trapani, Palermo, Agrigento, Caltanissetta e Ragusa, with 5 wineries distributed in the whole territory. The vineyards can be found in areas which benefit of a vast pedoclimatic diversity, from the low coastal areas up to an altitude of 600 metres above sea level. "We work with the aim that our farmers receive the right compensation for their work. This adds dignity to Sicilian agriculture and to the wines which express at best our territory. It is for this reason that each one of our wines is dedicated to our farmers." - Colomba Bianco Grillo is the flagship of Sicily's indigenous white varieties. Famous for its role in the production of Marsala wines, but has recently come into its own as a varietal making light, fresh and citrussy wines. Ideal with fish first courses, delicate risottos and white meat dishes.
  • Mars Bonfire, Steppenwolf’s drummer’s brother, saw a poster which said,” Born To Ride” with a photo of a motorbike taking off from the ground surrounded by fire. Around that time, he had bought his first car and that’s how the idea came about to celebrate the freedom of being able to go where you want and when you want. NASA used “Born To Be Wild” to wake up their astronaut crews. And when a spaceship landed for the first time on Mars the small exploratory vehicle went down the ramp to the rhythm of “Get your motor running”. In 2004 Paris Hilton asked permission to use the song in her reality show The Simple Life. The band refused.” There are things Rock’n’Roll can’t accept.” The organic Bobal grapes are grown in poor clay soils situated in the west of the province of Valencia at 700 metres altitude. The vines grow in a ‘continental’ climate influenced by the Mediterranean. The wine spends 9 months in French and American oak barrels. Best enjoyed relaxing and/or with pasta, rice and red meat dishes. The Bobal grape variety has really high levels of resveratrol, an antioxidant and a heart healthy polyphenol, which helps metabolise fats.
  • Rafael Cambra has spent most of his life in a vineyard. His family own one of the most prestigious nurseries in Spain, with clients like Vega Sicilia, Alvaro Palacios and many more. He established his own cellar in 2001 after finding a vineyard with 50-year-old Monastrell vines. He also planted some Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc. The vineyards lie in the lowest part of the Sierra, inland from Valencia, with olive and almond trees surrounding them. Rafael believes in minimal intervention when it comes to wine-making, creating elegant yet restrained wines. He is an innovative wine-maker, constantly experimenting with different grapes and blends until completely satisfied with the result. • Picaro means 'rogue' or 'rascal'. I have always called it the young lad, as they also have 'El Recio' (the middle aged man) which is Matsu's idea for a reserva wine and the Gran Reserva, 'El Viejo' (old man just in case you didn't know). Bodegas Matsu is situated in the Toro region, right beside the Rueda region (known for the famous Verdejos). Toro wines are predominantly made of Tinta de Toro (tempranillo in this area of Spain) and are well known to be a mouthful of strength and personality due to its poor soil and hot summers. These vines in particular are 90 years old and are cultivated using the biodynamic techniques. Although the more conventional wines of this region are quite sharp, Matsu's wine range has achieved smoothness and elegance. Additionally, the clever thinking behind the labels means that they cater to a wide audience. I would recommend this red any day of the week.

Attractive tones of tropical fruit and a slightly spicy vanilla tone. Elegant and medium-bodied, with a nice balance and long aftertaste.
