  • A lively and ripe juice which, in the words of Maya and Nicolas, faithfully captures the character of the wines of the commune where they are based. A very nice balance and a great drinkability for this Cahors which breaks the codes. Light and greedy at the same time, it offers us a superb length and much pleasure.
  • This estate spans a modest 9 hectares, with 1 hectare located in Sancerre and the remaining 8 in the Coteaux du Giennois. Emile's vineyard holdings in the Giennois region are situated in the picturesque villages of Bonny-sur-Loire and Beaulieu-sur-Loire, where the vineyards gently ascend from the banks of the Loire River. It is from these calcareous soils, enriched with underlying layers of silex and clay, that Emile crafts the wines
  • Toro was one of the great discoveries on our trips in the search for vineyards. In 2005 we found ourselves among the largest number of centenary and pre-phylloxera vineyards we had ever seen, with sandy soils perfect for the vine and an ideal continental climate to prevent the onset of diseases. All these conditions have led to the maintenance of ancestral viticulture, based on respect for natural rhythms. But, without a doubt, the most unique thing we found in Toro were its wine growers, men and women with an emotional attachment to the land, to which they have dedicated effort, wisdom, respect and sacrifice for generations. That is why they are the face of the wines of Bodega Matsu, a Japanese word that means “wait” and conveys the philosophy of this project. Wait for nature to take its course, for the vineyards to turn 100, wait for the perfect moment to open a bottle of wine. With El Pícaro, El Recio, El Viejo and La Jefa our aim was to elaborate wines that retain the traditional power of the Toro vineyards, but combine it with the freshness and elegance that characterizes all our wines.
  • Matsu represents a journey through time, through several generations dedicated to life on the land. Youth, maturity and old age. Four wines originating in the D.O. Toro needing more than one hundred years for their elaboration with the grape from centenary vineyards, the wisdom inherited from generations of winemakers who continue to grow the vines in an artisan way using the most ancestral techniques. El Pícaro, El Recio, El Viejo and La Jefa personify the essence of Matsu, their individual relationship with the land in accordance with their age and their life stage. They are the tribute to hundreds of men and women who have dedicated their lives to the vineyard in this region. The result is four modern and sophisticated wines, capable of displaying soft, discreet elegance without losing the power that characterizes Toro wines.

  • Since its foudation on the 10th september 1756 by Royal Charter of D. José I, King of Portugal, under the auspices of his Prime Minister, Sebastião José de Carvalho e Melo, Marquis of Pombal, the importance of this chartered Company was reflected by the valuable services to the community, being the most relevant, the demarcation of the Douro region – the oldest wine appellation in the world. Since 1960, Real Companhia Velha has been run by the Silva Reis family, who have dedicated their efforts to the production of both Port and Douro wines, focusing on the study and development of the Douro terroir. The Company owns 5 quintas in the Douro valley – Quinta das Carvalhas, Quinta de Cidrô, Quinta dos Aciprestes, Quinta do Casal da Granja and Quinta do Síbio – with a total vineyard surface of 557 ha.
  • Rocim is the owner of Herdade do Rocim and Vale da Mata. Today, this brand  is renowned for the quality of its wine and Cellar. Speaking of its history is speaking of a dream and therefore, it means speaking of the present and future. Because dreams are endless. • Founded in 1967 by Jacques Seysses, who transforms a newly acquired property into the Dujac domaine, it is now run together with his sons Jeremy, winemaker, and Alec. The property has 17.30 hectares of which a small part cultivated with chardonnay for an average production of less than 80,000 bottles. Jacques and his son Jeremy (whose wife Diana winemaker works in the domaine) are faithful to a very marked pinot noir through the vinification of whole grapes: the wine obtained rarely has a great color, but after a long aging (even beyond the thirty ' years) tertiary aromas do justice to this winemaking. Dujac style is the search for elegance and finesse with integrated and soft tannins always with balance, harmony, length and complexity. At the base the work in the vineyard, serious and rigorous, where the experience and knowledge of technology can help in the small imperfections of the vintage, but without any tampering. The brothers Alec and Jeremy, continuing in their father's work, are today considered among the best interpreters of the Pinot Noir of the Côte de Nuits and the Domaine Dujac can be fully confirmed as one of the most important Burgundy producers. In 2019 Morey has had another very successful vintage, receiving more rainfall in August than anywhere else on the Côte. The limestone subsoil also seems to give the wines a little more bite. The fruit is perfumed, with the classic Morey blueberry touches. The wine has good concentration and an energetic finish.
  • This domain has one of the best terroirs in Châteauneuf-du-Pape with its abundance of rounded quartzite stones from the Villafranchian period. These stones absorb heat during the day then radiate it at night, promoting full grape maturity. Yielding just 30 hectolitres per hectare, the vines are carefully managed throughout the year. The grapes are hand-harvested, once each variety has reached full maturity, which is based on tastings undertaken by an expert panel. The vineyard is farmed sustainably according to the principles of la lutte raisonnée.

  • "I don’t think there is a better description for this wine than vin de soif. A wine that really does make you thirsty for the next sip! (The next glass!) It has the quiet charcuterie-like meatiness of Cinsault on the nose along with woodsy florals and tomato vine. It tastes of bramble berries picked from late-summer hedgerows, warm from the sun but with the leafiness and fragrant earthiness of footpaths and damp grassy banks and wild herbs. So mouth-watering and so gentle." Tamlyn Currin, Jancis Robinson.com
  • This wine is the truest representation of the legendary Egri Bikavér. Cool climate, volcanic soils give rise to the fresh, spicy, ripe yet vibrant fruits with a touch of leafiness from firm but well integrated, round tannins. Gergo Bojt is a revolutionary young producer in the northern Hungarian wine region, Eger. A town full of history and rich culture in winemaking. His four legged companion, Buddy, always follows him around the vineyard. They form a great team with a sense of playfulness showing through the wines, too. The 1552 Siege of Eger became an emblem of Hungarian heroism when the castle was successfully defended against the united forces of the two greatest Ottoman troops. When accounted for the defeat of their 20-fold army, the Ottoman leaders claimed the Hungarians - including women - fought with such an unparalleled courage they must have had drank the bull’s blood. This gave the name to the region’s emblematic red blend, Egri Bikavér (bull’s blood of Eger). Therefore every bottle is embossed with “1552 Eger".

  • Rózsa Petsovits was born in 1921 in Horitschon, Hungary. In the same year Horitschon came to Austria. Just as the history of Burgenland is a history of German-speaking Hungary, so this wine tries to think without borders. A rosé to remember, dedicated to Franz Weninger's very active grandmother, Rozsa Petsovits. The perfect wine for summertime.
